Darryl Hannah in the 1984 movie Splash! was the mermaid we all want to be.
She was the inspiration for this necklace, so girly it hurts, but made with precious pearls, silk thread, solid gold findings and the beautiful pink conch shell beads, it could have been strung by the mermaid herself.
